There's a lot of fans that like Chicharito. If we can't find a buyer for him Pellegrini is bound to say how important he is and giving him the number 9 shirt kind of boosts him as first choice.
When we get a new striker or someone prepared to pay a decent price for him he'll be away but, Chicharito is not a greedy slime-ball like Arnie.
I saw him play a couple of games last season where his hold up play was quite good and he's certainly got the finishing touch that's proven in the PL.

I think he’s a great option to have off the bench, but you can’t justify his wages for that.
